Welcome to Marion Township Parks

Marion Township has two parks for Township Residents to enjoy.


 Jack Lowe Memorial Park is located on the Township Hall property on Coon Lake Road near County Farm Road.

The park includes a walking path, Family playground,  disc golf course and a gazebo with picnic tables.

The walking path is just shy of one mile and goes alone the perimeter of our property. Please enjoy the path at your leisure, but please pick up after yourself, and if you are walking a dog please pick up after them too. We want to keep things nice for everyone. While we do encourage walkers, runners, bikers, wheeler chairs and much more, Just please no Motorized vehicles on the walking path.

The gazebo is available for rent by Township Residents for family reunions, weddings and other events.

Fred Brown Park is located at 1884 Triangle Lake Rd, Howell, MI 48843,  just south of Coon Lake Road.
The park includes Pickleball court, children's play equipment, baseball diamond, walking trail and a picnic table for your use.

Marion Township Park Rules

  • All Motor vehicles are restricted to roadways 
  • Park only in Designated areas
  • No four wheeler, dirt bikes, golf carts or any other motorized vehicles allowed on the walking trails
  • A personal battery operated wheel chair or a 3 or 4 wheel battery operated scooter when operated by a person with disability is allowed
  • Alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED
  • Pets must be kept on a leach, and cleaned up after 
  • Grilling or ground fires are illegal
  • Camping is prohibited
  • Vending and Peddling are not permitted 
  • No firearm or weapons of any kind are permitted
  • No feeding wild animals
  • No littering
  • No destroying park property or equipment 
  • Fireworks and other explosives are prohibited
  • Patrons of the park MUST conduct themselves in an orderly manner

Engraved brick pavers are currently being sold to be placed around the Gazebo.
