TO
ADOPT POVERTY EXEMPTION GUIDELINES FOR 2011 INCOME AND ASSET TESTS

Beal motioned to adopt a resolution to setting the following guidelines for 2011
Poverty Exemptions, Seconded by Paula Wyckoff.
In
order to qualify for a poverty exemption, property owners must submit an
application and meet both the income and asset tests.

Test: The income guidelines shall be the Federal Poverty Guidelines as follows:

Test:
To
be eligible for a 100% poverty exemption for 2011, residents shall have a
maximum of $50,000 in net assets, excluding their principal residence,
retirement accounts, and accounts having a substantial penalty for withdrawals.

of Marion, Livingston County, Michigan, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing is
