Schedule of Regulations - updated The Marion Township Zoning Department would like to provide the following information to help you prepare for your building project. When you are proposing to build a new structure, deck, accessory building or add on to an existing structure in the Township, you will need a land use permit. Along with the Land Use Permit you need to submit a plot plan, showing where on the property you are proposing to build and a set of blueprints showing what you are building. As part of the permit process, we ask that you stake out the property in the place your project is proposed. Once you
have applied for your permit and received approval, we will need 3 sets of
plans (1 for the Township and 2 for the County) and the appropriate fees. You will then go to
