Materials can be requested on-line and can be picked up 24 hours a day in secured-access lockers at Parker High School. There is also a book return drop box located at Parker High School in the west wing parking lot, as well as another at the Howell Meijer store, near Customer Service. Recycle Livingston Recycling services are available to Residents from Recycle Livingston. The nonprofit recycling organization is looking to recruit 500 new members in fiscal year 2010 to generate more income. Their fiscal year begins on March 1. Annual membership fee is $25 per regular household or $20 for households for those aged 62 or older. Regular hours of operation are Saturdays 9 a.m.–1 p.m. and Wednesdays 11 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Membership application forms are available @ www.recyclelivingston.org/membership.html or by visiting the recycling center during regular recycling hours. The recycling center is located at 170 Catrell Street in Howell, north of Grand River between National St. and Chilson Rd. Business memberships can be arranged by calling the office at 517-548-4439. West Nile Virus Marion Township is participating in a program through Livingston County Health Dept. We will continue monitoring the Township to detect the Virus. We have had positive specimens at this time. We recommend that you use the following precautions : use DEET based products when going outside, wear long sleeved shirts and pants, and avoid free standing water.
